General Neurology Services
Q: What neurological conditions do you treat?
We diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological conditions, including migraines and headache
disorders, epilepsy and seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and movement
disorders, neuropathy, memory concerns and cognitive changes, dizziness and balance disorders,
and sleep-related neurological conditions.
Q: How do I know if I need to see a neurologist?
You may benefit from a neurology evaluation if you experience persistent or severe headaches,
numbness or tingling, unexplained weakness, memory loss or cognitive changes, tremors or
coordination problems, dizziness or fainting, or seizures. If your primary care provider has referred
you, or if these symptoms are affecting your daily life, we encourage you to schedule a consultation.
Q: What should I bring to my first neurology appointment?
Please bring a valid photo ID and insurance card, a list of current medications and supplements,
any relevant medical records or imaging results, a written summary of your symptoms and when
they began, and a list of questions you’d like to discuss.
Pain Management
Q: What types of pain conditions do you treat?
We treat both acute and chronic pain conditions, including neuropathic pain, headache and
migraine, back and neck pain with a neurological component, complex regional pain syndrome
(CRPS), fibromyalgia, and pain associated with neurological disorders. Our goal is to identify the
root cause of your pain and develop a plan that goes beyond symptom management.
Q: What pain management treatments do you offer?
We take a multimodal approach to pain management, which may include medication management,
nerve blocks and injections, neuromodulation therapies, red light therapy, lifestyle and wellness-
based interventions, and referrals to physical therapy or other specialists when appropriate. We
always tailor your treatment plan to your unique needs and goals.
Q: Is pain management the same as just prescribing pain medication?
Not at all. While medication may be part of a treatment plan for some patients, our philosophy
centers on comprehensive, integrative care. We explore all available options — including non-
pharmacologic therapies — to help you achieve lasting relief and improved function.
Red Light Therapy
Q: What is red light therapy?
Red light therapy (also called photobiomodulation) is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific
wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular repair and reduce inflammation. It
has been studied for a range of conditions including pain, wound healing, and neurological support.
Q: What conditions can red light therapy help with?
Red light therapy may benefit patients experiencing chronic pain and inflammation, neuropathy,
headaches, fatigue, and recovery following neurological events. Our providers will help determine
whether it’s appropriate for your specific situation.
Q: Is red light therapy safe?
Yes, red light therapy is considered safe and non-invasive when administered properly. Sessions
are comfortable, painless, and typically brief. Our team will review your health history to ensure you
are a good candidate before beginning treatment.
Q: How many red light therapy sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your condition and treatment goals. Some patients
notice benefits within a few sessions, while others benefit from an ongoing series of treatments.
We’ll work with you to develop a plan that fits your schedule and health needs.
Wellness & Lifestyle Programs
Q: What wellness programs do you offer?
Our wellness programs are designed to complement your neurological care and support your
overall health. We offer nutritional counseling and brain-healthy diet guidance, stress management
and mindfulness support, lifestyle coaching for sleep, exercise, and cognitive wellness, and
integrated wellness planning for patients managing chronic conditions.
Q: Can I participate in wellness programs even if I don’t have a neurological diagnosis?
Absolutely. Our wellness programs are open to anyone looking to optimize their brain health,
reduce stress, improve energy, and build sustainable lifestyle habits.
Q: How do wellness programs work alongside my medical treatment?
Wellness and medical care go hand in hand at our center. Your providers will coordinate your
neurological treatment with appropriate wellness strategies to create a unified, whole-person care
plan. We believe that lasting health outcomes require attention to both medical and lifestyle factors.
Appointments & Insurance
Q: How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by calling our office directly or using our online booking portal.
New patients are always welcome, and referrals are accepted but not always required — please
contact us to confirm based on your insurance plan.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
We are currently completing the credentialing process with insurance providers. In the
meantime, if your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, we can provide you with a detailed
superbill — a receipt with all the codes your insurer needs — so you can submit for potential
reimbursement directly. Many patients recover a significant portion of their costs this way.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your
appointment. This allows us to offer your time slot to another patient in need. Late cancellations or
no-shows may be subject to a fee.
Q: What if I have a neurological emergency?
If you are experiencing a medical emergency — such as sudden severe headache, stroke
symptoms, loss of consciousness, or new-onset seizure — please call 911 or go to your nearest
emergency room immediately. For urgent but non-emergency questions, please contact our office
and we will do our best to assist you promptly.
